(ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX- July 1, 2015) Volunteers are busy planning the 6th annual Festival of Trees, the main fundraiser for Rockwall County Helping Hands.  For two days, November 13th and 14th, the Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront Hotel at the Harbor will be a Christmas wonderland, filled with beautifully decorated trees and wreaths. During

the event, the Boutique at Helping Hands will transform into the Festival Boutique, stocked with Christmas gifts and decorations.

Each year local individuals, organizations, businesses and churches support this essential event by donating a decorated tree or wreath. Helping Hands is focusing on smaller trees this year – under four feet.  Tabletop trees, including miniature trees, have traditionally been the best sellers.

Helping Hands welcomes everyone to participate by decorating a tree or wreath and donating it to Helping Hands to be sold at the Festival. If you decide to decorate a tree or wreath, Helping Hands is counting on you to furnish all the necessary supplies to make the tree or wreath look its best. Set up is scheduled for Thursday evening, November 12, between 6 p.m. and midnight at the Hilton. Helping Hands staff will be available to help if needed.

The trees and wreaths will be displayed for sale during Boutique hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests attending the Auction and Dinner on November 14th will be able to continue to shop until 11 p.m.
