(ROCKWALL, TX – July 9, 2015) The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce, the largest business membership association in the area, today unveiled a new brand identity, symbolized by the introduction of a new logo that signifies its growth and strength in numbers, and celebrates the culture of connecting businesses and community.
“The launch of our new logo kicks off a new era at The Chamber that represents who we are as a member organization and promoter of tourism with an unparalleled range of programs and services for the Rockwall community,” said Dana K Macalik, President. “The Chamber has three distinct roles to promote economic prosperity – The Bridge to Business, The Bridge to Opportunity and The Bridge to the Future. The new logo signals a clear purpose for our brand and represents a network which fosters accomplishments and upholds the highest standards of who we are and how far the Chamber has come in its 85-year history. We’ve evolved from a small network of business-minded folks representing the entrepreneurial energy in a farming town, to an alliance supporting growth in a way that is both sustainable and successful. The brand is involved in affecting legislation, education and partnerships and one not afraid to take risks; speaking out on issues of local, state and national importance that impact our members and community while continuing to dedicate support to bringing community and leadership together for our quality of life.”
Macalik continued, “The Chamber and Visitors Center concluded a three year Strategic Plan in 2014 that articulated five guiding principles supporting the Mission Statement and the business associations we serve. Today, with the launch of a new logo that prominently features who and what we are — Leading, Connecting and Prospering successful partnerships that define the future. With the introduction of our logo, we’re really staying true to our role in growing business and tapping into collective resources and opportunities. Our steadfast commitment to Leadership, Community, Integrity, Balance and Service, will be the ‘Heartbeat of The Chamber’ and the businesses we support.”
The new logo is exciting and more relevant for a growing and changing community—a community attracting the next generation of businesses and citizens desiring to impact our area and committed to creating and improving our economy as the best place to live, work, play and retire.
The new ‘sailboat’ flags reflect the high school colors; orange and red and offers a flowing wave of development signifying the unifying message of ‘Making Every Day Extraordinary for Business’. The vibrant color of green further supports growth and life of the community we represent.
The launch of the updated logo and new brand identity was developed in collaboration with QBall Design, a local company and Chamber partner that is known for helping organizations grow through brand-driven creativity.
Vision: To be recognized as the destination for excellence in member services, community collaboration, business growth, tourism and quality living.
Mission: To make everyday extraordinary for business while maintaining the ideal hometown feel.
