Friends of RaymondCameronLakeParkwill host their 2nd annual Texas Bluebonnet planting. They will meet at 10 a.m. at the fishing pier at PhelpsLake. Hannah Moore, Nebbie Williams 6th grader, will perform the reading, accompanied by flute player, Landon Wynne, Utley 7th grader. Rockwall Domino’s, 2330 Greencrest, and the National Fire Protection Association are teaming up with the Rockwall Fire Department to promote fire safety during Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 4 – 10). On Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 6 – 8 p.m., anyone who orders a Domino’s pizza may be randomly selected and surprised at the door when their pizza arrives aboard a fire engine. If the smoke alarms in the home are working, the pizza is free. If the smoke alarms are not working, the firefighters will replace the batteries.

Your participation means that hungry & malnourished children will be helped; all donations go to providing Miracle Mix/Milk for HIV orphans in South Asia & malnourished babies in Mozambique; and there are great cook off prizes. There will be a face painting, bounce houses, games & great food. There will even be a Pumpkin Patch and pumpkin painting.
