Public meeting to gather input on Rockwall County Hazard Mitigation Plan

(ROCKWALL, TX – Jan. 29, 2016) Rockwall County will hold a public meeting on Thursday, February 4th to gather public input for a County-wide Hazard Mitigation Plan. The meeting is from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Rockwall County Sheriff’s Office; 972 T.L. Townsend Drive, Rockwall 75087. The public is invited and encouraged to attend the meeting.

The purpose of the public meeting is to provide a project overview from H2O Partners, Inc., consultant to the project, and solicit information from citizens. Public input will help the project team analyze potential hazards affecting residents and recommend possible actions to reduce their impact.
If you cannot attend the public meeting, information about the planning process and a public participation survey are available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RockwallCountyHMAP and https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Condado_de_Rockwall.
