Rockwall Chamber welcomes Membership Development Consultants

(ROCKWALL, TX – May 11, 2016) The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Center is pleased to announce that Dorothy Spradlin and Trey Finley have joined the Chamber staff as new Membership Development Consultants. They will be leading and driving new partner sales, in a part-time capacity.

With the onboarding of nearly 200 new members a little over a month ago, this gives the Chamber team time to focus and fine-tune retention efforts, while Dorothy and Trey focus on engaging new members to the Chamber, and assisting current partners to proper investment levels.

“It is a very exciting time for us,” said Vice President of Member Engagement Darby Burkey. “We all know them from different roles outside of the Chamber. They have both been huge supporters and advocates for the Chamber, which is why we feel their new roles are especially important.”

Both have an extensive background in utilizing all that Chambers have to offer. Dorothy served for several years as an Ambassador, which has provided many opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. Since 2003, her background in banking exposed her to many of Rockwall’s finest community leaders, opening the door for her to do what she loves – which is serving. Dorothy’s experience as entrepreneur and former co-owner of Simply Kate also gives her a unique perspective in the Rockwall business community.

Dorothy has volunteered for five consecutive years with the Rockwall Rubber Duck Regatta, which supports two great organizations: The Boys & Girls Club of Greater North Texas and Meals on Wheels. She served with the Rockwall Women’s League 2007-2011, served on the Board for Rockwall MusicFest 2010, Rockwall Women in Business 2014, WineShare, Lakeside Biz, and she’s a member of the Executive Women’s Alliance, and currently serves on the board for The Young Professionals of Rockwall.

Trey Finley is the President and Head Coach at Basepaths Performance. Trey is a leader of leaders in the community, government organizations, not for profit, and business. He leads through mastermind groups, workshops, speaking engagements, team training, and management coaching. Trey frequently speaks to and trains small business owners in the Dallas area on topics such as increasing cash-flow, employee performance and motivation, management styles, and marketing strategies.

Before Trey started coaching business owners in 2009, he invested ten years of coaching and consulting with not-for-profits and their leaders, staff and volunteers. His current clients include high potentials and owners in small businesses, not for profit boards, and government organizations. Trey completed the Executive Coaching certification at the University of Texas at Dallas, and is licensed by John Maxwell to use his materials with organizations. He completed his MS and BS at Abilene Christian University. He is certified as a provider for Tilt365 and DiSC assessments.

“We feel that with Trey’s leadership experience and Dorothy’s commitment to community involvement, both are assets to our mission. We are thrilled to have them on our team,” Burkey said. You can expect to see them at many Chamber activities, such as signature events, ribbon cuttings and networking. Please join the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Center in welcoming Dorothy and Trey!
