(ROCKWALL, TX – Nov. 18, 2016) The City of Rowlett Parks and Recreation Department and the Rowlett Noon Exchange Club invite everyone to the FREE Main Street Festival and Holiday Parade, 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, December 3 in Pecan Grove Park, 5300 Main Street.
There will be music from carolers as well as the Lakeshore Symphonic Winds and a host of exciting activities that include photos with Santa, children’s activities, desert trucks, a spectacular light trail, and, for the first time… the trail of trees. Do not forget this year will feature a special surprise that you’ll only get to see if you stop by and witness the fun for yourself.
Parking will be available in the Rowlett High School parking lot. For more information call 972-412-6170.
Event Timeline
3:00pm: Holiday Parade (Rowlett Exchange Club)*
4:00pm – 6:20pm Performances from carolers and the Lakeshore Symphonic Winds
6:20pm: Tree Lighting
Free admission and parking. The Holiday Parade will go down Main Street towards Rowlett High School and conclude by going through the high school parking lot. The choir performances, live music, and entertainment will occur at Pecan Grove Park, behind the Rowlett Community Centre located at 5300 Main Street. Parking will be available in the Rowlett High School Parking lot for the event.
Handicap accessible parking will be located in the Rowlett Community Centre parking lot located at 5300 Main Street.
