(ROWLETT, TX – Dec. 2, 2016) The City of Rowlett has determined due to the increasing chance of inclement weather on Saturday, December 3rd to postpone all scheduled events. The new schedule is outlined below.
Noon Exchange Club Parade – scheduled to begin at 3:00pm – has been cancelled
Main Street Fest: The North Pole – scheduled to begin at 4:00pm – rescheduled to Thurs, Dec 8 @ 5:30
Timeline for the event:
5:30pm Activities kick off
- Santa’s Workshop
- Snow Play Area opens
- Caroler’s Perform
5:45pm The official lighting of the City of Rowlett Christmas Tree and lighting of the Pecan Grove Trail
6:00pm Santa Pictures on the Coyle House front porch
6:30pm Special Entertainment by Jill Beam
7:00pm Event concludes and activities close
The Rowlett Parks and Recreation Department looks forward to seeing you Thursday beginning at 5:30pm.
