(ROCKWALL, TX – March 5, 2017) The Rock Wall Chapter of NSDAR held its Annual Chapter Awards Reception at the home of Chapter Regent, Carolyn Duckworth. The chapter awards nine DAR Good Citizen Awards recipients each year for each high school in the area. Good Citizen Awards were presented by Chair Margaret Davidson. Chapter American History Chair, Linda Smith, presented American History Awards to Jillian Bray and Avery Wheat of Heritage Christian Academy and an Excellence in Teaching Award to Mrs. Saulter also of Heritage Christian Academy. Sandra Solomon, Community Service Award Chair, presented chapter member Ruth Peck with Community Service Award. Mrs. Peck will also be recognized by the state regent at the upcoming state conference.
