(ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX – Oct. 30, 2017) Ten new CASA volunteers were sworn in on October 30th by Judge Brett Hall. These ladies completed 30 hours of training, as well as observing court and visiting CPS and a children’s shelter. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. Lone Star CASA trains community members to advocate for children in foster care in Kaufman and Rockwall counties.
