Marigold Learning Academy hosts carnival for children with autism

(ROCKWALL, TX – June 3, 2018) Marigold Learning Academy/ABA Therapy Center held its first carnival for children with autism last month at its center, 401 W. Washington Street in Rockwall.

The purpose of the event was to give children a safe place to have fun and the raising of funds for the nonprofit arm of the Marigold Learning Academy, M. A. L,,  benefiting ABA Summer Camp Scholarship program.

“The success of our event was made possible by the tireless enthusiasm of our staff and volunteers along with donations of local businesses, providing face painting, carnival games, bounce house, dunk tank, fingerprinting, food and puzzle pictures, and silent auction items,” founder/director Karri Wilson said.

“We are delighted with the reaction of the children,” said Wilson. “with many parents expressing their gratitude for their children having a safe place to enjoy a “carnival experience” just for them and hoping that this will be only the first of many.”

The Marigold Learning Academy/ABA Therapy Center was Founded in 2012, taking the lead on all fronts for children 18mo. to 8yrs., with autism and related disabilities in a structured, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
