SouperBowl: Rockwall County 4-H collecting beef sticks to tackle hunger

The Rockwall County 4-H Beef Club will continue to collect beef sticks until Monday, Feb. 3, 2020.

The Rockwall County 4-H Beef Club is participating in the nationally recognized program “Souper Bowl of Caring” and collecting individually wrapped beef sticks.

The youth decided to collect snacks such as Country Archer Beef Sticks because they are a healthy, no sugar snack that is a good source of protein and does not have to be refrigerated.

Collected items will be donated to the Kiwanis Food for Kids program which benefits Rockwall ISD students that may have little to no food to eat on the weekends.

If you would like to make a donation toward the collection they can be dropped off at the following locations:

Rockwall County Farm Bureau  – Open 8:30-5:00 M-F

1121 Yellowjacket Lane, Rockwall (behind the new Brakes Plus)

Rockwall County Extension Office –Open8-5 M-F closed 12-1

Rockwall County 4-H Beef Club is recognized as a 501(c)3.  Donation receipts can be provided.
