The Rockwall Rotary Club recognized its Student of Honor this week from Dobbs Elementary School – Tyler Conklin!
During today’s lunch program, Lori Bailey, Assistant Principal of Dobbs Elementary, described Tyler as a “spectacular student” who excels in all of her academic endeavors. She explained that Tyler hops on a every day to go Utley Middle School, to take pre-algebra with seventh grade students.
Bailey said the best thing about Tyler is her character, saying she is “kind beyond measure, the kind of friend everyone wants to have. She is creative, an amazing artist, and amazing writer, and a great leader with a gentle spirit.”
Tyler said her favorite subject is math, because she enjoys working with equations and formulas like the Pythagorean theorem.
