Fulton School teacher delivers inspiration

(ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX – April 8, 2020) Jamie Allen, a teacher at The Fulton School in Heath, adores her third grade students and is passionate about teaching STEM. With schools closed to COVID-19, Jamie has taken the extra step of delivering weekly packets to her students – dropping them off on their doorsteps, so they can continue their education along with Google Classroom.

This Monday, she delivered Easter baskets to each student’s front porch.

She writes, “Little did I know, one of my students mothers would capture such an unforgettable moment. Looking through a glass door and not being able to hug one of my third grade students was something I thought I would never have to do.”

Jamie shared these photos with the hope that they inspire teachers – and students – to keep going!

“We will be in our classrooms soon. This is just temporary!” she said.
