(FATE, TX – June 3, 2020) Applications are being accepted for the following board and commission vacancies:
• Capital Impact Advisory committee – One Ad-hoc member
• Fate Development Corporation – One Non-Council Class member
• Fate Municipal Development District No. 1 – Two members
• Parks and Recreation Board – Five members
• Planning and Zoning Commission – Three members
• Zoning Board of Adjustment – Three members
The City Council of the City of Fate encourages all citizens to consider becoming actively involved in City government by serving on a City Board or Commission. Board and Commission applications are available on the City’s website, at City Hall in the City Secretary’s Office.
Applications must be submitted to the City Secretary’s Office no later than Monday, June 30, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. in order to be considered by the City Council. Applications may be submitted online via the City website, in person at City Hall, via fax at 972-772-3343, via mail at P.O. Box 159 Fate, Texas 75132, or via email at vraduechel@cityoffate.com.
The City Council will interview applicants and consider appointments at a future Council meeting. Those applicants not appointed will be considered for future assignments as vacancies occur. Applications will remain on file for one year.
