ROCKWALL, TX – July 7, 2020 – Join Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas for a panel discussion about the impact of inequality and injustice on girls’ mental health.
This event is free and open to adults interested in learning more. Our discussion conversation will be led by expert panelists, Licensed Professional Counselor, Marcellina Melvin, MA and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Dr. Nakia G. Scott, M.D.
As girls witness these issues in our world, they may feel a range of emotions, such as sadness, anxiety, anger, and fear. As an organization, we are devoted to becoming empathetic leaders who make the world a better place, just as we want for our girl leaders of tomorrow.
