WYLIE, TX – December 8, 2020 – In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue and Educational Center, located at 3430 Skyview Drive in Wylie, will be recognized for 20 years of excellence and dedication to the rescue and lifetime care of exotic cats. The Mayor of Wylie will issue a proclamation of In-Sync Exotics Day at the City Council meeting on December 8, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at Wylie Municipal Complex, 300 Country Club Rd, Building #100, Wylie TX 75098.

In addition to proclaiming In-Sync Exotics Day, the Mayor will also be recognizing the prestigious award of Outstanding Wildlife Sanctuary of the Year, awarded to In-Sync Exotics by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries in October.

It is the sanctuary’s dream that one day there will be no need for rescue facilities and true sanctuaries like ours, but until that day comes, we will continue to educate the public on the unique attributes and characteristics of our residents, the realities of irresponsible and/or illegal exotic wild animal ownership and captive breeding, and the need for stronger and enforceable legislation against those who abuse exotic wild animals. In-Sync Exotics, a non-profit organization established in 2000, is dedicated to the rescue of neglected, abused, and unwanted exotic felines. American Sanctuary Association (ASA) accredited, Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS) verified, and a member of Tigers in America, In-Sync Exotics provides the highest quality care for the 71 exotic animals that reside at the sanctuary.
