ROCKWALL, TX – March 11, 2021 – Hermès, a local gelding trained at Black Star Sport Horses, just earned the prestigious title of Horse of the Year, awarded by the United States Equestrian Federation. Trainer Jessica Blackmon-White won a world title on Hermès last fall at the Grand National & World Morgan Horse Show in Oklahoma City.
Jessica’s parents, Lisa and Jackie Blackmon, own and operate Black Star Sport Horses, a premier dressage training, show, and sales facility on 255 acres in Rockwall. Hermes is owned by Heath resident Cindy Becker.
