ROCKWALL, TX (Jan. 31, 2022) Dana Cullins Macalik, a native of Rockwall County, a Rockwall City Councilmember and former President/CEO with the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce and the largest real estate company in Rockwall, is an excellent choice to succeed me as County Commissioner- Precinct 2. I confidently recommend Dana Macalik.

Dana has a clear vision of where she wants Rockwall County to go in the next decade. Many residents share her vision because it focuses on dealing with growth by keeping traffic problems low and road quality high, attracting tax contributing businesses that bring excellent jobs, and preserving our quality of life by supporting law enforcement. And, best of all she is committed to her conservative values and pledges to maintain county services at the highest level while reducing residents’ property taxes.

Beyond a doubt, Dana Macalik is the most qualified person. As a servant leader in our community with numerous non-profit organizations, she is well known for her service. I served with her on the “American Cancer Society Relay for Life – Rockwall County” volunteer task force, and there I acquired respect and admiration for her generosity, intelligence, leadership, and dedication to a good cause.

Dana is an experienced business-woman with organizational and management skillsets needed for our growing county. She is honest, pragmatic, and offers insight into our community’s needs, with a willingness to examine the issues and listen closely to the public’s questions and concerns. Her experience with strategic planning will serve the county well. This sets her apart from her opponent.
