HEATH, TX (Aug. 24, 2022) Last night Mayor Kelson Elam issued a Proclamation of Appreciation to Heath resident, Tom Johnson, for his 11 years of service on the Heath Economic Development and Heath Municipal Benefits Boards.
Johnson completed his first 8-year tenure in 2017, serving as President. He was recruited back to the Board in 2018, just in time to provide valuable financial expertise for the EDC’s Local Business Relief Grant program in the Spring of 2020 to assist Heath businesses impacted impacted by COVID-19 closure mandates.
Today, those service businesses and restaurants continue to thrive! Tom also donated land to the City’s parks and trails system in 2022.
