ROCKWALL, TX (Oct. 11, 2022) Fall is in the air and the Rockwall County Master Gardeners are busy preparing for the upcoming “A Walk in the Garden” event! Mark your calendars now for Saturday, October 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The location is the Rockwall County Discovery Garden located at 875 Riding Club Road. This family friendly event is free!
“A Walk in the Garden” is the perfect opportunity to tour the Discovery Garden and ask Master Gardeners questions. You can enjoy short lessons on pollinators, pond life and soil. Plant and seed giveaways will be happening (first come, first serve), as well as raffle tickets for beautiful garden themed quilts. The kids will love exploring the gardens especially the Children’s Garden. Bring your camera, the photo opportunities are plentiful and come spend some time enjoying “A Walk in the Garden”. After your visit, you’ll have a chance to win a $25 Kroger or Lowes gift card when you complete our short evaluation.
