ROCKWALL, TX (April 12, 2023) – On April 12, 2023, at approximately 1:45pm, the Rockwall Police Department executed a search warrant in the 3200 block of Fontana Blvd. The warrant was in response to an ongoing investigation involving 28-year old Joshua Coleman who was arrested and charged with Aggravated Kidnapping. He is currently held at the Rockwall County Jail and his bond has not yet been set.
The warrant service location is near Sharon Shannon Elementary School and the campus was placed on a “secure” status while the warrant was served as a precaution. However, the incident does not involve any Rockwall ISD campus or student nor is there any active threat to the public.
The case remains under investigation by the Rockwall Police Department Criminal Investigation Division.
