Women in Need welcomes new Executive Director

ROCKWALL, TX (August 4, 2023) Women in Need, a multi-faceted domestic violence resource center, is pleased to welcome Kristen Ostertag as its new Executive Director.

Kristen comes to WIN with seven years previous experience where she served as both Director of Legal Advocacy and Finance Manager. During her 7-year tenure Kristen gained a deep understanding of the organization’s commitment to support victims of Domestic Violence. Fueled by her passion for WIN’s mission of providing shelter, advocacy, and education, she approached her roles with unwavering dedication and sincerity.

Now, as the Executive Director of Women In Need, Kristen is genuinely honored to continue serving and leading the organization. Her primary focus is on upholding the core values of compassion, integrity, and humility, while fostering a safe & trusting environment for all those WIN serves.

WIN provides domestic violence services to residents of North Texas. The following services are available free of charge to victims and/or survivors of domestic, dating and intimate partner violence. Our advocates will assist you in finding the right solutions for your situation. Our focus is to help the victim envision a life free of violence and to gain back control of their lives. Even if there is no need for emergency shelter, rest assured that victims and survivors will be provided with all the necessary support, advocacy, education, and referrals we have available.that shelters, advocates, and educates for a secure today and offers hope for a safer tomorrow.
