ROCKWALL, TX (April 25, 2024) During their Annual Spring Luncheon held Saturday, April 20 at Culpepper Cattle Company, the AMICA Sisters were delighted to present grants to 20 local non-profit organizations serving Rockwall County, using funds raised at their 49th annual Denim and Diamonds Gala.
The recipients of the grants included: Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Texas; Deep Roots Ministries Inc. DBA Selah Creek; Empower 7; FUMC Rockwall Shoes for Kids; Lone Star CASA, Inc; Meals on Wheels; Patriot PAWS Service Dogs; Poiema Foundation; Rainbow Room of Rockwall County; Rockwall Art League; Rockwall Community Playhouse; Rockwall Grace Center for Family & Community Development; Rockwall Philharmonic Orchestra; The Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County; Women in Need Inc.; J.E.R. Chilton YMCA at Rockwall; Texas Valor Project; RHHS Robotics Club; Rockwall County Kiwanis Club Foundation; and The Undaunted Warhorse Initiative.
AMICA Sisters expressed their gratitude to the community for their support and extended an invitation to save the date for this year’s 50th Gala, which will be held on October 19th, 2024, at Boyd Farms.
AMICA will also be giving scholarships away to Rockwall and Rockwall Heath students.
