Commissioners Court recognizes Rockwall Chamber’s Leadership Rockwall Class of 2024

ROCKWALL, TX (April 9, 2024) The Rockwall County Commissioners Court honored the Leadership Rockwall Class of 2024 during today’s Commissioners Court meeting.

Leadership Rockwall is a comprehensive, 9-month community leadership program centered around Rockwall County. Its purpose is to cultivate the essential skills required for effective leadership.

At the program’s commencement, participants are tasked with identifying a significant issue, program, or project warranting attention. Guided by the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce, the Leadership Rockwall Class of 2024 proudly chose The Meadows: Transforming Futures Project.

The Meadows is a non-profit organization that provides affordable housing to low-income families.

At the heart of this project is the refurbishment of a key training facility and the uplifting of Meadows, situated at 787 Hail Drive. The mission is to revitalize, empower, and invigorate our community. Through extensive renovations and an expansion of training programs, Leadership Rockwall aims to create an environment where learning thrives, and community bonds strengthen.
