ROCKWALL, TX (June 4, 2024) The Rockwall Breakfast Rotary has a very successful US Flag program, with over 1900 flags placed throughout the county each holiday. The bad storm that wreaked havoc across the county on May 28 hit at certainly a very inconvenient time for this club. All of their flags were in place for the Memorial Day holiday.
High winds and rain devasted most of the flags and flag poles. Now Breakfast Rotary faces a huge challenge to clean up all the flag locations at residences and businesses and to repair and replace all of the flag poles and replace all the torn and damaged flags, in order to be ready for Flag Day on June 14.
Breakfast Rotary’s President Herman Hudson says, “We accept this challenge and are working hard because of our commitment to serve the community of Rockwall.”
Rockwall Breakfast Rotary is dedicated to continuing a first class flag program and they are always ready and excited to be of service to the Rockwall community.
