HomeBank Texas names Eric Stacey Chief Lending Officer

(ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX – Sept. 3, 2024) HomeBank Texas, an independent, locally owned bank with branches in Rockwall, Seagoville, and Dallas, is pleased to announce the promotion of HBTX Senior Vice President-Commercial Lending, Eric Stacey, to his new role as Chief Lending Officer, effective Sept. 1.

For the past two years, Mr. Stacey has helped foster a culture of excellence within HomeBank while managing commercial lending activity and achieving financial and service goals. He came to HBTX with over two decades of experience in banking and commercial lending, and a passion for customer service and community.

In his new role, Mr. Stacey will oversee HBTX’s lending activities in our Rockwall, Seagoville, and Dallas branches – leading and mentoring a team of high-performing lenders; further developing relationships with clients and community; monitoring risk management practices; and providing oversight of the bank’s continued financial health, among many other key responsibilities. He will continue to office in HBTX’s Rockwall location at 105 E. Ralph Hall Parkway, and he will report directly to HBTX Chief Executive Officer, Landon Lowry.

Mr. Stacey is an active community volunteer, serving on JER Chilton YMCA Board of Management and supporting the Y’s Angel Camp program for kids with special needs. He is actively involved in the youth ministries at First Baptist Rockwall. He lives in Heath with his wife Amanda and their two daughters. His family enjoys spending time on the driving range at Buffalo Creek, playing tennis and soccer.
