(ROCKWALL, TX) October 6, 2024 – Get into the holiday spirit at Rockwall’s Hometown Christmas event, happening all day Saturday, December 7, 2024. This festive celebration, presented by the City of Rockwall, promises a day packed with joyful activities for the entire family.
The day begins at 9 AM with the beloved Kiwanis Christmas Parade, where community members will showcase their holiday spirit with themed floats inspired by favorite Christmas movies. The festivities continue downtown from 10 AM to 5 PM, where attendees can enjoy a variety of food trucks, a thrilling snow hill, kids train, bounce houses, photos with Santa, and more. Come check out the Holiday Market with local vendors and delicious eats.
The evening will be capped off from 6 PM to 8 PM at City Hall, located at 385 S Goliad St, Rockwall, TX 75087, a very short walk from Downtown. The City Hall Tree Lighting ceremony will feature live music, crafts, sweet treats, and the lighting of the magnificent city tree—a sight not to be missed!
Residents and visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the free trolley service running from First Baptist Church Youth Center (710 S Goliad St, Rockwall, TX 75087) to Downtown Rockwall (The Center, 108 E Washington St, Rockwall, TX 75087) from 10 AM to 9 PM, ensuring easy access to all the day’s activities.
