ROCKWALL,TX (Nov. 14, 2024) Sean Philips, a member of Boy Scout Troop 83 sponsored by First United Methodist Church-Rockwall, has turned his passion for pets into action – crafting dog beds and gathering food donations for shelter animals in need.
As part of his Eagle Scout project, the Rockwall High School student will be collecting dog and cat food for the Rockall Animal Adoption Center. Community members are encouraged to help the shelter pets and support his project aby dropping off donations from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23. The shelter is located at 1825 Airport Road in Rockwall.
