ROCKWALL, TX (Nov. 10, 2025) — On Sunday, Nov. 9, Ridgeview Church marked a significant milestone with a ceremonial groundbreaking for its expansion project — a move that reflects the church’s growth and deepening commitment to serving families in the Rockwall community.
Under the leadership of Lead Pastor Matt Geisinger, who has served since December 2003, the church’s mission is to Win people for Jesus, Disciple them in Jesus, and Send them out for Jesus.
The new expansion will enlarge the sanctuary and also create dedicated space for children and youth ministries. During the ceremony on Nov. 9, church leaders, members, and community representatives joined together to mark the beginning of this project, symbolizing hope for what’s ahead.
For decades, the church has been a staple in the Rockwall area, offering verse-by-verse teaching, small groups and ministries that emphasize community and spiritual growth.
Construction is expected to begin soon with the project taking over 1 year to complete. The new sanctuary will provide increased seating capacity to accommodate growth, while the youth/children’s wing will feature modern classrooms, flexible gathering spaces and a welcoming lobby designed to serve both kids and parents.
