Greenville, TX (January 5, 2026) — Dodie’s, the popular Cajun and seafood restaurant known for its bold flavors, lively atmosphere, and deep community roots, is headed to Downtown Greenville.
Dodie’s Cajun Kitchen will open in Early Spring 2026 at 2205 Lee Street — the former Fatto a Mano space in the Greenville Farmers Market — bringing the authentic Cajun cuisine that has made Dodie’s Cajun Diner at The Harbor in Rockwall a local favorite to the heart of Greenville.
Owned by longtime restaurateur Mike McRae, Dodie’s has earned a loyal following for its fresh seafood, rich gumbos, flavorful étouffées, and signature Cajun classics — all served with the friendly hospitality Dodie’s is known for.
“We’re incredibly excited to bring Dodie’s to Downtown Greenville,” said McRae. “Greenville has a strong sense of community, a vibrant downtown, and an appreciation for great local businesses — all things that align perfectly with who we are. We can’t wait to become part of the neighborhood, serve great food, and give back in meaningful ways.”
McRae is a well-known North Texas restaurateur and community supporter. In addition to Dodie’s Cajun Diner in Rockwall, he also owns the award-winning McRae’s American Bistro & Cocktail Bar in East Dallas and Stan’s Blue Note, the iconic and legendary sports bar on Lower Greenville Avenue in Dallas. He is the creative force behind the Sinatra-esque fine dining and entertainment venue in Addison known as Table 13. His restaurants are known not only for their food and atmosphere, but also for their commitment to supporting local charities and causes.
That commitment will continue in Greenville, with plans for community-focused events such as crawfish festivals, gumbo cook-offs, and fundraisers benefiting local nonprofits.
