Live Well Rockwall campaign supports lifesaving screenings for Rockwall County residents

Community Invited to Tour Mobile Health Unit

ROCKWALL, TX (Sept. 14, 2026) — Rockwall County residents have an opportunity to make a direct impact on the health of their neighbors through the 2026 Live Well Rockwall campaign, a community-driven initiative benefiting Texas Health’s Wellness for Life® Mobile Health Program.

Led by volunteers across Rockwall County, Live Well Rockwall raises funds to support preventive health screenings and services provided through the Wellness for Life Mobile Health Unit. The program helps remove barriers to care by bringing screenings directly into communities, making it easier for individuals to access services that can detect health concerns before symptoms appear.

Services include mammograms, cervical cancer screenings and Pap smears, colon cancer screening tests, prostate cancer screenings, diabetes screenings, and cholesterol testing.

All funds raised through Live Well Rockwall stay local to support Wellness for Life services in Rockwall County.

The importance of early detection is highlighted by this year’s Live Well Rockwall Patient Champion, Shelly Springer Spearman, whose breast cancer was discovered through routine screening. Following early diagnosis and treatment, she now serves as an advocate for preventive care and community access to screenings.
