Raising Cane’s unveils partnership with Kidd’s Kids

CEO Todd Graves presents Kraddick crew with $10,000 check on Kidd’s Kids Dine-In Day

(Irving) June 28, 2012 – Todd Graves, founder and CEO of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, recently presented a $10,000 check to the “Kidd Kraddick in the Morning” crew in the official kickoff to the company’s partnership with the Kidd’s Kids charitable organization.

The event was held in conjunction with Kidd’s Kids Dine-in Day, when every child involved with the charity nationwide was invited to eat free at their nearest Raising Cane’s all day long, along with the rest of his or her immediate family.

“On behalf of Raising Cane’s, I’m very pleased to give you this $10,000 check, which we know you’ll put to great use in making a difference in the lives of Kidd’s Kids and their families across the country,” said Graves.  “My crew and I are very impressed with the Kidd’s Kids organization and extremely proud to do our part to support your work.”

The event, held at the Raising Cane’s at 7955 N. MacArthur Blvd. in Irving – was attended by Kraddick’s morning show sidekicks Kellie Rasberry, Big Al Mack, J-Si, Jenna and local Kidd’s Kids families.  As his listeners know, Kraddick has been out recently due to complications from a surgical procedure and was a last-minute scratch from the event.

“I am totally pumped about our new partnership with Raising Cane’s, especially after I had the chance to meet Todd a few weeks ago and learned what an unbelievably charity-minded company he runs,” said Kraddick in a statement. “This check and Kidd’s Kids Dine-in Day are just the beginning of some really exciting plans Cane’s has in store for our kids, and I’m really looking forward to working with Todd and his team for a long time to come.”

Kidd’s Kids, a program of the Kraddick Foundation, was established in 1991 with the hope of making a difference in the lives of terminally and chronically ill children. Each year, Kidd’s Kids offers five amazing days of suspended reality to children whose lives have been ravaged by disease, with an all-expenses paid trip to Disney World for the kids and their immediate family.

Kidd’s Kids Dine-in Day was available at each of Raising Cane’s more than 125 restaurants nationwide on Wednesday, June 6.
