Garage sale at Wylie UMC to benefit Sophie May Sewell

(Wylie) July 23, 2012 – There will be a garage sale from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 in the parking lot of Wylie United Methodist Church, 1401 FM 1387 in Wylie, benefiting 20-month-old Sophie May Sewell.

Sophie May is the daughter of Whitney Sewell, a kindergarten teacher at Tibbals Elementary.

Sophie was recently diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a malignant tumor that develops in the nerve tissues.

Proceeds from the event go toward her medical treatment.
