Rockwall County Relay for Life set for April 26, 2013
(ROCKWALL – December 9, 2012) The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life is a life-changing event that brings together more than 3.5 million people every year to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones, and empower individuals and communities to fight back against the disease.
Teams pay a commitment fee of $25 to walk in the Relay and work to raise funds for cancer research. All teams registered by December 31, 2012 will be entered in a raffle for prizes. Winners will be announced at the Kick-Off meeting on July 10 at Shenaniganz in Rockwall.
The Rockwall County Relay For Life will be held at Cain Middle School on Friday, April 26, 2013 beginning at 7 pm. Join us in the fight against cancer. Challenge your friends, coworkers and family members to join in. It’s an experience you’ll never forget!
