Strike Out Violence Bowling Tournament to benefit New Beginning Center

(January 24, 2013)  The 10th Annual Strike Out Violence Bowling Tournament benefiting New Beginning Center Women’s Shelter starts at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at Plano Super Bowl.

New Beginning Center, located at 218 N. 10th Street in Garland, is a domestic violence nonprofit agency serving Northeast Dallas and Rockwall Counties, fostering an environment of safety, support and respect for families and victims affected by domestic violence. The organization provides an emergency shelter for women and children, and transitional housing.

Player spots are only $30 per person and teams are $180 (six players per team).  Prizes include Best Team Spirit, Best Team Score and Worst Team Score. The event will include a silent auction and raffle as well.
