ROCKWALL, TX (August 26, 2014) Cypert Insurance was joined by The Life House Coffee Shop, Pho Garden Vietnamese Restaurant, Rockwall Floor Covering, Metro Design Loft, Full Impact, and many other friends to provide much needed student and teacher supplies for the 2014-15 school year.
Cypert Insurance orchestrated the drive after receiving “wish lists” from Brad Helmer, principal at Springer Elementary, and Todd Bradford, principal at Utley Middle School. Both principals had supply needs which with they didn’t want to burden students or teachers.
The drive resulted in the collection of more than 175 3-ring binders for Utley Middle School and 300 Expo markers for Springer Elementary. Cypert Insurance also agreed to provide extra binders and markers as needed throughout the school year.
“Anytime we have companies offer to donate student school supplies, we are very grateful! When Mr. Cypert approached me regarding the idea, he asked if there were specific items for which he could have a “supply drive,” Helmer said. “Every teacher and every student will use Expo markers and binders throughout the course of a year, so that is a constant need. I am grateful to Mr. Cypert for supporting the students’ and staff of Springer Elementary School with this much needed donation of Expo markers!”
Bradford added, “As we begin a new year, many students and their families struggle with the notion of not having school supplies to start the year. Cypert Insurance asked us how they can make a difference. They generously gathered over 175 binders that can be given to students who do not have a one. Their generosity will have a lasting impact on our students. A big thank you to the Cypert Insurance Team!”
