ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX (November 10, 2014) SAGE teachers Jenny Kaup from Springer, and Renee Clover from Pullen, were awarded a grant on Nov. 4 titled, “3D, the Economy and Me,” to receive a 3D printer for each of their campuses.
The grant is based upon the ideal of a new industrial age, where students will have the opportunity to make failure affordable and change mindset from, “where can I buy this,” to, “how can I make this.”
Students will go through a Project Based Learning Experience to become entrepreneurs and connect with experts in the field to understand how this will impact the economy while “pushing the envelope” toward innovation.
