(ROWLETT, TX – May 19, 2015) Lake Pointe Medical Center received the top grade in The Leapfrog Group’s Spring 2015 Safety Score, representing the hospital’s continued commitment to delivering safe, high-quality healthcare services to Rowlett, Texas and the surrounding community.
The Leapfrog Group Hospital Safety Score is a rating system that judges hospitals based on their ability to prevent errors, injuries, accidents and infections and is designed to give consumers information they can use to make healthcare decisions for themselves or a loved one.

The Hospital Safety Score is calculated by top patient safety experts, peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public.
