(ROCKWALL, TX – June 1, 2016) As part of a project based learning experience at Doris Cullins-Lake Pointe Elementary School, students in Mrs. Kidd’s fifth grade Social Studies classes built a cut-a-away representation of the White House.
The White House showcases what happened during each president’s term that had a major impact on America. The White House comes to life using the iPad apps Tellagami, iMovie, and Aurasma as you swipe the presidential portraits of each president.
Numerous community leaders shared their leadership qualities with the students throughout the project helping them have a better understanding of the 7 habits of good leadership and ways they could apply them to their own lives. The project was funded by the Rockwall ISD Education Foundation.
