(ROCKWALL, TX – Jan. 16., 2019) In a pageant ceremony held in Lewisville, Texas, Kimberly Bader of Rockwall, was crowned Mrs. North America Universal 2019. Bader, husband John, an employee of the City of Rockwall Police Department, and their teenage son have resided in Rockwall since 2015, previously living in Austin, Texas.
Bader is an award-winning marketing, social media, and graphic design professional, as well as an actress appearing in over two dozen television shows, commercials, and movies. She previously held the title of Mrs. Texas Universal 2017, placing 4th runner up to Mrs. USA Universal and has raised over one million dollars across the state for charitable organizations. For her volunteer contributions, Bader has earned the Gold President’s Volunteer Service Award from former President Barack Obama.
Bader will be sharing her platform, “Weaving a Strong Social Fabric: How Volunteerism Creates Community Resilience” at the Mrs. Universal pageant in Playa del Carmen, Mexico in August 2019, and will compete for the title of Mrs. Universal in four categories: interview, swimsuit/resort, evening gown, and onstage question. Bader says of her platform, “Volunteers are the not so secret weapon to building strong, resilient communities. We saw this first hand with the devastating tornado that hit Rowlett in 2015, with volunteers arriving on scene to lend their neighbors a hand in whatever way that was necessary. It’s proven that communities that have a strong volunteer base will rise up to the occasion of a crisis faster than those that don’t. With our busy lives, it can be difficult to find time to volunteer, but volunteering helps to better our community as a whole.”
Bader is available for appearances and events and is actively seeking sponsors. Follow her journey through her official website www.kimberlybader.com.
