Mid-Autumn Festival features Chinese acrobats, dancers

(Richardson) In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival and China’s National Day, the Association of Chinese Professionals Foundation-DFW will present a performing arts show  featuring the Florida-based Sino-Elite Group, at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16,  at the Charles W. Eisemann Center in Richardson.

This famous group of  top notch Chinese performers are professionally trained in Chinese traditional acrobatics and magic and have won gold awards in many international competitions.

A well-known Chinese talk show comedian will also perform at the show as well as three local performing groups, Wang Tao Kung Fu USA, Jiaping Shi Dance School, and The Great Land Choral Society, which will bring stunning performances.

To mark the centennial anniversary of the 1911 Chinese revolution, Well Go USA, a successful local theatrical and home entertainment distribution company, will also present a feature presentation from the movie “1911,” starring Jackie Chan, a heart- pounding epic story of the historical 1911 Chinese revolution which ended the 2000 years of rule by feudal dynasties, and founded the first Chinese Republic.
