Drivers, start your engines! Experience life in the fast lane

Pole Position Raceway will bring Formula 1 style go karting to 50,000 square feet inside the Frisco Commerce Center at 10550 John W. Elliott Drive, with a grand opening date set for Monday, Dec. 19.

Pole Position Raceway means no more waiting outside in the Texas heat or cold to enjoy the adrenaline rush of go kart racing. The indoor facility is environmentally friendly, houses the fastest-growing sport in the U.S., satisfies the need for speed and will be open 7 days a week.

Italian made all-electric go karts powered by the latest go kart technology that travel up to 45mph will navigate a 1/4-mile road course. Junior karts will be available for kids more than 48 inches tall and travel at a speed of 25 mph.

Franchise owner, Robert Finley, the driving force behind getting Pole Position Raceway to Frisco, says, “Get ready to travel faster than the speed of sound, but you’re still on the ground. This has been a dream project come true and we are excited about giving kids, teenagers and adults a chance to sit in the driver’s seat!”

Frisco Convention & Visitors Bureau Executive Director, Marla Roe, added, “We love the addition of family friendly activities to Frisco, and the fact that this venue is perfect for groups and corporate outings is a plus!
