(Rowlett) Feb. 21, 2012 – The Rowlett Chamber of Commerce, along with its member business marketing professionals – Cliff Hand, owner of Marketing Specific; Robert Montgomery, Director of Marketing for Lake Pointe Medical Center; and Eva Hummel, Senior Marketing Consultant for Baylor Medical – presented the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors with a fresh new logo for the Chamber of Commerce.
While the Rowlett Chamber is very proud of its history, the consensus is to grow with the very dynamic changing business climate in Rowlett.
The new logo represents Rowlett’s location of being a lakefront community and lends itself to a recognizable future.
“This is a very special time in Rowlett and the new look places the Chamber on the cutting edge,” said Barry Young, Chairman of the Board. “We are very excited about our future in Rowlett and want to do everything we can to attract the attention of business ventures and developers. The new logo allows us to be branded while showcasing our great community.”
The Rowlett Chamber Board of Directors passed with a unanimous vote to adopt the new logo at their Feb. 21, 2012 meeting.
“I love that we have a lot to look forward to in Rowlett,” said Diane Lemmons, President of the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce. “With the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Light Rail opening this year and the President George Bush Turnpike complete, we have accessibility and visibility like never before and it is time to embrace our future and never forget our past and what has made us who we are today.”
