The parade staging area was awash in red, white and blue as participants lined up to participate in the City of Heath’s Annual Independence Day Parade.The Heath Hawks 4A State Baseball Championship baseball team led the City of Heath’s Annual Independence Day Parade.The City of Heath Annual Independence Day Parade ended at the Hawk Baseball field, where City of Heath Mayor Lorne Liechty and other dignitaries honored the Heath Hawk State 4A Championship baseball team.With so many great entries, choosing the award winners in the City of Heath’s Annual Independence Day parade was a difficult job! Legend Salon took the coveted Mayor’s Award for its great display of patriotism with a twist of whimsy.
(Heath) July 4, 2012 – The City of Heath’s Annual Independence Day Parade led by the Hawk State Baseball Champs was a huge success today!
It was a great turn out as neighbors came together to celebrate freedom, honor veterans and active military, and congratulate the city’s champion baseball players.
