School supply drive benefits Anne Frank Elementary

August 22, 2012 – Trinity Christian Academy, 17001 Addison Road in Addison, is hosting an All-School Supply Drive benefiting Anne Frank Elementary School in Dallas.

Anne Frank Elementary is the largest elementary school in Dallas, and it serves students from as many as 30 countries who speak more than 20 languages.  This diversity creates an appreciation and understanding of different cultures, and Anne Frank Elementary further exposes its students to cultural diversity through music, films, plays, special programs and visits to museums.

TCA has supported Anne Frank Elementary for decades by providing school supplies and 1:1 student-to-student tutoring and mentoring.  TCA invites the public to join in donating school supplies to Anne Frank Elementary through Friday, August 31.

Collection boxes are located at the Lower School main entrance, the Art Wing driveway, the statue next to the Middle School driveway and the Upper School grand hall.

Requested school supplies include red and black pens; pencil boxes; Kleenex; wide rule spirals; transparency markers; markers (thin or wide); glue sticks; pocked folders with brads; hand sanitizer and colored highlighters (other than yellow).
