Rockwall Kiwanis Christmas Parade shines ‘Through the Eyes of a Child’

(Rockwall – December 1, 2012) The 43rd Annual Christmas Parade presented by the Kiwanis Club of Rockwall County drew hundreds of families and festive floats to downtown Rockwall today.

Amy Parks-Heath Elementary student Courtney Kirk, daughter of Brad and Melanie Kirk, served as Grand Marshal of the Parade, after her artwork won a Kiwanis parade poster contest. Josh Johnson and Ben Laudermilk served as announcers for the parade; they volunteered for the role as part of the Audio Visual Program at Rockwall High School, and were selected by their teacher Sandy Bridges.
