(ROCKWALL-May 7, 2013) Lt. David Valliant is the most recent member of the Rockwall Police Department’s Command Staff to complete the Police Executive Management College at The Institute for Law Enforcement Administration (ILEA) in Plano. ILE is one of the premier learning centers for Police Executives.

All members of the Command Staff have attended either the advanced management training at The Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas at Sam Houston State University or at ILEA. Chief Mark Moeller and Asst. Chief Kirk Riggs also attended executive training at the FBI National Academy in Quantico,Virginia.

These prestigious management programs help prepare senior-level law enforcement administrators for leadership in public safety. They provide challenges in which participants can learn, develop and test a variety of success-oriented skills and abilities. They range in commitment from the intensive eight-week program sponsored by ILEA to 10 weeks at the FBI National Academy.
