(Rowlett) July 22, 2013 – The Rowlett Public Library has a lot to offer this summer! Here’s a look at what’s coming up on the August calendar:
Tea for Teacher
Tuesday, August 13, 2 pm
The Rowlett Public Library invites area teachers to visit and take a tour of the free materials and services available to the community. Speak with the librarians about curriculum support while enjoying tea and cakes!
Library Camps
August 2nd – Percy Jackson
August 9th – One Direction
August 16th – Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Come in for the first three Fridays of August at 2 p.m. for fun, games and activities centered around popular teen phenomena.
Paws for Reading
Saturday, August 10, 2pm
Therapy Dogs will be joining readers of all ages at the Library. Special dogs are trained to sit quietly and be read to by students who have challenges in reading aloud.
Dr Who Family Event
Saturday, August 31, All day come and go
Come and go craft and costume program. Participate in games, trivia and much more!
