(ROCKWALL – September 23, 2013) The Rockwall City Council recently appointed retired Major General Harold Gary Bunch to the Rockwall Economic Development Corporation’s Board of Directors. Bunch appointment takes effect this month.

“It’s our privilege to welcome Gary to the Rockwall EDC Board of Directors,” said Rockwall EDC President and CEO Sheri Franza. “Gary will bring a unique perspective and many years of experienced leadership with him to the table. The Rockwall EDC is fortunate to have an extremely high caliber of leadership and talent represented on our Board and we are grateful to Gary for his willingness to serve in this capacity.”
Bunch is a member of the Military Order of the World Wars, Dallas Chapter; the Veterans of Foreign Wars; the American Legion; and the Association of the US Army.
“We looked really hard before deciding to move to Rockwall and after getting to know the people I am serving with on the Rockwall EDC Board and knowing they are representative of the Rockwall community, I now know we made the right choice,” said Bunch.
Bunch is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. He lives in Rockwall with wife Lauren and has two sons and a daughter, Kyle, Carl, and Alicia.
