(ROYSE CITY, TX – September 1, 2015) A free program courtesy of Women & Girls of Worth Ministry of Trinity Baptist Church in Royse City will teach women and girls how NOT to be a victims of crimes crimes against women. The self defense program will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 8 at Trinity Baptist Church, 300 Erby Campbell Blvd. in Royse City.
Chief Bill Waybourn of the Dalworthington Gardens Department of Public Safety and noted women’s safety expert will provide instruction to ladies of Rockwall County and Royse City how to be smart and safe at home and in a retail environment. Chief Waybourn teaches seminars in the Ft Worth area regularly, and was associated with American Sniper Chris Kyle .
Officer Scott Paille of the Commerce Police Department is an expert on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and teaches womens’ martial art classes. Officer Scott will demonstrate helpful techniques.
Dallas Public Safety Supply owner Captain Gene Churchill (Ret.) will have many self defense items on hand to demonstrate and answer questions about what you should or should not buy for defense.
